The project is in its deep drilling exploration phase after detailed surface studies between 2018-2020
showed up to 200 MW worth of steam within a 10 km square area of the concession area.
The entire concession area measures some 135 square kilometer area. We will deliver the project in
four phases with the first unit of 35 MW to be ready by 2026. Our deep surface studies point to an
excellent geothermal resource at an exploitable depth of 1500m-2200m.
The project has received approval and a permit from the National Environment Management Agency (NEMA)
to proceed with the deep exploration drilling of 3 test wells.
